Liverpool 2-0 Milan: In pictures

Liverpool beat AC Milan 2-0 on Sunday morning to claim their first win of their US tour at the second attempt.

The Reds lost 1-0 to Chelsea in Pasadena on Thursday, but recovered in San Francisco thanks to goals from the returning Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino.

Jurgen Klopp’s men could’ve been in front by half-time, but a combination of good defending and poor finishing ensured otherwise, with Sadio Mane wasting the best chance of the half.

When the Reds did finally find a breakthrough, it was Origi who was on hand to deliver; a superb shot into the bottom corner from a tough angle after the Belgian showed tremendous skill to beat former Liverpool player Gabriel Paletta.

Firmino then added a second, sliding in to divert Sheyi Ojo’s deflected shot goalbound after the youngster left his marker for dust with blistering pace – a common theme throughout his cameo.
