Hull want Ryan Kent as part of Robertson deal

According to The Mirror, Hull want Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent as part of the deal for Andrew Robertson.

Liverpool have been tracking Robertson for quite some time and ever since Hull’s relegation was confirmed the Reds have stepped up their pursuit.

A deal in the region of £8 million is reportedly close to being confirmed, however, now it seems as though Hull want youngster Kent on a season-long loan as part of the deal.

Kent impressed last year in the Championship. He made 45 appearances for Barnsley and was named Tykes’ Young Player of the Year.

Following the signing of Mohamed Salah, Kent’s chances of playing for Liverpool this season have reduced.

The likes of  Philippe Coutinho, Divock Origi and Adam Lallana would all be favoured on the wing over the inexperienced Kent.

The opportunity of first-team football may be too good to turn down and this stint away could further benefit Kent’s development and give him some much-needed experience.
