Liverpool fans mock Man City fan who broke into Wembley press box

Earlier today, a Manchester City fan broke into the Wembley press box to verbally abuse the journalists working in there, claiming that tomorrow’s papers will not focus on City’s historic treble win, suggesting that they’ll run a story about Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah instead,

City hammered Watford 6-0 in the FA Cup final to secure the domestic treble, having already claimed the League Cup and the Premier League titles but that seemingly wasn’t enough for the supporter who wanted to make a point about the coverage of his team.

The past week has seen City’s players criticised for singing a derogatory song about Liverpool after their title win, whilst the club appears to be under the UEFA microscope for matters relating to alleged breaches of the Financial Fair Play regulations.

Either way, Liverpool fans on social media were quick to mock the man who broke into the press box and one witty fan even made a fake back page of a Sunday paper featuring Mo Salah!
