Liverpool in talks to play at Tottenham’s stadium in pre-season

Liverpool are in talks with Tottenham over using their new stadium for a pre-season game before the beginning of next season.

The Reds are due to face Napoli on July 28, and won’t be able to use Anfield with Bon Jovi, P!nk and Rick Astley set to perform in summer concerts.

As such, the club are being forced to consider alternative options, with their turf unlikely to have fully recovered in time, and Spurs’ stadium appears to be their ideal pick.

Negotiations are currently ongoing, as reported by MailOnline, with Tottenham to be compensated for aiding their fellow Premier League side.

Since opening earlier this month, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has received acclaim, and will house 62,000 people at max capacity.

Liverpool will also play matches in Indiana, New York and Boston in the United States this summer.
