Liverpool not planning any future bids for Nabil Fekir

Liverpool are not planning any future moves for Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir, according to reports from the Independent.

This follows reports from France that claim the Reds are still interested in a move for Fekir, a year after almost bringing him to Anfield.

Last Summer the Reds almost agreed on a deal to bring Fekir to Anfield, agreeing a £53 million fee for the midfielder and even taking pictures of him in a Liverpool shirt.

However, after his medical, the club pulled out of the deal over concerns about Fekir’s previous injury history with his knee.

The club are reportedly still not interested in Fekir, with Liverpool’s stance on any deal not changing since they killed the deal last Summer.

Fekir is entering the last 12 months of his deal at Lyon, and could yet still move away from the French side.

However, it won’t be to Liverpool, who are firmly out of the race to sign the 25-year-old.
