Liverpool Team for clash with Flamengo

Liverpool have picked a very strong team for their Club World Cup final clash with Flamengo, according to our sources.

Jurgen Klopp named a heavily rotated side for the 2-1 semi-final win over Monterrey but it looks like he’s picked a much stronger team for the final.

The team is as follows:

Allison Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino.

In total, that makes four changes for The Reds from the semi-final with Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Firmino and Mané coming in for Adam Lallana, James Milner, Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri,

There’s been a lot of talk about how seriously Klopp would take this competition but having picked a very strong team, it’s clear that Jurgen Klopp is keen to win a third trophy of 2019.

The Reds will be hoping to make up for the last time they competed in this competition, when they lost to São Paulo in the final back in 2005, and having picked a strong team, they have an excellent chance.
