Man City Head Physio Lee Nobes to join Liverpool

Liverpool have made another key addition to Jurgen Klopp’s backroom staff, according to an exclusive report from Training Ground Guru.

TGG report that Manchester City’s Head Physiotherapist Lee Nobes has left the Premier League champions to take up a role with Liverpool.

The Reds have been looking for a new head physio since Matt Konopinski, who was acting up into the head physio role after the sacking of Andy Renshaw, left to join up with the England national team’s youth set-up.

Nobes has been as City since 2007 and leaves as a very popular man amongst the City players and other members of staff.

Those who watched the Amazon documentary series All or Nothing will likely recognise Nobes as he was the man who travelled with players when they went to meet up with Dr Ramon Cugat in Barcelona.

Liverpool have taken staff from the likes of Bayern Munich in the recent past and now it looks like they’ve taken Nobes from City, who TGG report will begin his new role on November 26th.
