Virals: Liverpool named as ‘best football option’ for Ousmane Dembele

Liverpool have been described as the ‘best football option’ for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele

Named alongside Paris Saint-Germain as a possible destination for the 24-year-old winger, the Reds are believed to provide a suitable platform to reignite a stuttering career.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo journalist Xavier Bosch, as cited by ThinkLFCTV on Twitter, Liverpool could attempt to bring the Frenchman to Merseyside.

The report claims that Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the 27-cap star whose ‘pace and dribbling would amaze at Anfield’ should Mohamed Salah move on.

So far this season Dembele – described as ‘exceptional’ by Dani Alves – has scored twice and provided seven assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.

Still valued at £27million despite being out of contract in July (Transfermarkt), signing the World Cup-winning winger would for nothing would be an exceptional piece of business.

Despite being plagued by injury since arriving at Camp Nou, there remains a prodigious talent in Dembele.

Capable of playing on either wing as well as centrally, the Frenchman certainly possesses all of the attributes to flourish under Klopp and it’s clear to see why the German would be keen.

At the right wage structure and with a bit of luck on the fitness front, Liverpool should be pushing hard to bring Dembele to Anfield.
