Boost for Liverpool as Chelsea reluctant to pay £100m for Sancho

The Englishman is one of the key men for the Bundesliga side and is being valued at around £100m.

Several Premier League sides are interested in securing his signature, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.

However, as reported on the Daily Star, the Blues are reluctant to pay £100m for Sancho, which hands Liverpool the advantage in the race for his services.

Many pundits and fans feel that Jurgen Klopp needs to add another attacking player to his side, with Sancho being the ideal target.

Dortmund are highly unlikely to lower their valuation of Sancho, rather, it is more likely to go higher.

This means that Chelsea’s hopes of securing Sancho are low, leaving United and Liverpool as the front-runners.

With Klopp’s side participating in the UEFA Champions League and challenging for the Premier League title, it seems like an easy decision regarding who to sign for. But, nothing is concrete at the moment so we’ll have to wait and see when the transfer window opens.
