Liverpool fans react as Manchester City make ‘formal complaint’ over referee Michael Oliver

Manchester City have made a formal complaint to the Premier League about referee Micheal Oliver after the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend.

Liverpool secured a vital three points by demolishing an injury-hit City side at Anfield on Sunday evening.

However, there was some controversy over the win, with City furious over a handball incident just before Fabinho put the Reds 1-0 up.

No penalty was given, and City have made a formal complaint over the incident.

Several Reds fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions over the complaint, with many finding it hilarious.

The feud between Liverpool and Manchester City continues, with another saga developing.

City were poor at Anfield, so it does seem rather petty that they are continuing to complain about the referee.

It was a controversial decision, but it does seem like the right time to move on.
