Neymar eyes Coutinho

Barcelona forward, and one of the world’s biggest talents, Neymar, has been talking about the possibility of Philippe Coutinho joining up with him at Barcelona.

The duo came through the Brazilian national side youth setup together and are friends off the pitch.

“I see many Brazilian players with quality today,” said Neymar, as quoted in the Mirror.

But the one that I like and think could play here is Coutinho.

“He has the style of Barcelona.”

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Barcelona came in and snatched Liverpool’s star player from their hands.

To this day, more than a year on, Liverpool fans are still mourning the loss of the controversial Uruguayan, Luis Suarez.

These Neymar quotes will undoubtedly fuel speculation, and Coutinho to Barcelona reports are already beginning to surface.

Fichajes, a Spanish newspaper, have stated that the Catalan club are interested in Liverpool’s number 10 in a potential January transfer.

The Brazilian international – who arrived on Merseyside in January 2013 after joining from Inter Milan – has just recently signed a new long-term deal with the Reds.

He played from the start in 1-1 draws against Bordeaux and Norwich City respectively, having missed the 3-1 loss at Old Trafford the week prior.
