Liverpool have completed the loan signing of Steven Caulker from Queens Park Rangers, and discussion has been rife on social media with some furious with the deal, and others more relaxed.

The 24-year-old, who played eight games for Southampton in the first half of the season, was registered in time to be thrown straight into the side for the visit of Premier League leaders Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Here are six reasons why the England international (well, he has one cap) represents good business by the Reds.
