Who was Liverpool’s best player against Chelsea?

This Liverpool side won’t go down easily. After three consecutive victories with late winners, the Reds faced their toughest test remaining, a visit from Chelsea who were looking to play the role of party-spoilers just like they did five years ago.

But this Liverpool team are much different. As Jurgen Klopp said last week, they are “mentality monsters”, and they proved that today.

With Manchester City’s win earlier in the day, the Reds knew exactly what had to be done.

Liverpool played well in the first half but couldn’t find a clear chance. Patience was required.

After the break, the Reds came out all guns blazing and scored two in two minutes, courtesy of a close-range Sadio Mane header and an absolute belter by Mohamed Salah.

Eden Hazard came close on a few occasions after the goals but was unable to find the net as Liverpool saw out the game to go back on top.

Every single person in red gave it their all today, but who do you think was the Man of the Match?

Simply select which of the players shown below you think had the better game and go ‘winner-stays-on’ style until the end.
