Manchester City legend Yaya Toure has spoken out regarding this year’s Premier League title race.
Toure was a huge part of City’s reformation into one of the country’s biggest clubs and is widely considered as one of their best ever players in the Premier League era.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds currently hold a 14 point lead over City, who could close that gap when they face Leicester.
As quoted on the Express, Toure said:
Liverpool are great, they are doing very well and they deserve their position at the moment. There is a long way to go but Liverpool are a good side and they look much stronger than last year.
The way I see City is their form this year has been quite complicated but, 10 points in front, Liverpool have a good, good chance.
When you see the league today there are a few teams who are quite disappointing, like Arsenal and a couple of others. But Liverpool have the chance to have the honours this year.

Even City legends are starting to adore Klopp’s wonderful Reds.
It is fair to say Liverpool have been nothing short of excellent this year and could add another trophy to the ever-growing cabinet.
Let’s hope the Premier League makes its way into there in May too.
