There are two huge games for Liverpool in the space of four days. The Europa League round of 32 second-leg against FC Augsburg is followed by the Capital One Cup final versus Manchester City.
This makes the team selection very interesting for the European game. Logic would suggest that Jurgen Klopp plays his strongest side against City, but does this mean he rests some players on Thursday evening?
In an ideal world, Klopp would have loved to have scored an away goal or two in Germany, so resting players wouldn’t have been an issue and his crucial players would have been fresh and ready for the final.
However, that wasn’t the case, so it’ll be interesting to see what he does.
